- Building the future Rectory and Parish Offices
- Strengthening the long-term foundation of our parish community
A Message from the Pastor
Dear Parishioners,
“If the Lord does not build the house, in vain do the builders labour.”— Psalm 127
This Scripture verse was chosen by Fr. Craig Scott and the very first parishioners of St. Clare of Assisi Parish in 1999. It became the spiritual foundation of our community—and it continues to guide us today. Our parish story is a beautiful testimony of faith, sacrifice, and perseverance:
- 1990 – The Archdiocese purchased this land for a future Catholic church.
- 1999 – The name St. Clare of Assisi was chosen, and the parish was officially established with 155 founding families.
- 2003 – Construction of the Parish Hall began, and on Oct. 1st, Archbishop Exner celebrated the first Mass.
- 2010 – A major expansion of the parking lot was completed.
- 2015–2016 – Construction of our church began and was completed on Dec. 12, 2016.
- 1990 – The Archdiocese purchased this land for a future Catholic church.
Through all these years, the Lord has indeed been building this house—through your faith, your generosity, and your love for this parish. Today, we stand at the threshold of the next chapter in our parish’s growth: the construction of our new Parish Office and the Rectory for our priests.
By participating in Project Advance, you are becoming part of the history—and the future—of St. Clare Parish. I invite you to give in a way that reflects how the Lord has blessed you. Offer a gift that is meaningful, a gift that you can present to God with gratitude and joy. Remember: the Lord will never be outdone in generosity.
With gratitude and prayers,
Rev. Maciej Wos, SDS
