Dear parishioners and friends of St. Francis de Sales, Burnaby,

Gratitude abounds!!  In 2024, working collectively, we were able to exceed our expectation by raising over $130,000.  This was such a significant sum, supporting our Archbishop’s goals / priorities, and our sizeable rebate was directed to key future renovations in our hall and to our youth ministry initiatives.

Friends, our 2025 Project Advance Campaign is directed toward securing a brand-new tractor for the parish (doubling as a snow plow) along with enhancing our Evangelization and Faith Formation work.  Regarding the former, we’re long overdue for a new machine to keep our parish running smoothly, especially during the winter months.  And the fruits of our evangelizing and faith-formation work speak for themselves.  This Easter we had 9 adult baptisms, 12 adult confirmations, and another 7 at Pentecost.  With your help not only will our snow-plowing abilities be enhanced but we’ll be bolstering our efforts to follow through with Our Lord’s Great Commission to, “go out and make disciples of all nations” (Matt. 28:19).
