Christmas Greetings from Archbishop J. Michael Miller, CSB

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, and friends of the Archdiocese of Vancouver:

From the bottom of my heart, I wish you and your loved ones a Blessed, Joyful, and Merry Christmas.

While 2020 has been extremely challenging, this Christmas we celebrate an event that eclipses even the pandemic.  Jesus Christ is born for us!  The Saviour has come!  There is no greater gift that we could possibly receive. The Lord of Glory has become one of us, dwelt among us, healed us, and redeemed us.

This is the glorious truth we are called to share with everyone around us.  Your selfless commitment to our local Church is a source of inspiration to me, as I reflect on the resilient and creative efforts of our parishes and Archdiocese over this past year.

Thank you for being faithful partners in the Church’s mission of evangelization.

I pray that today, and every day throughout the new year, the Joy and Grace of the birth of Jesus Christ, our Mighty Savior, is present in your heart.

Merry Christmas!

+ J. Michael Miller, CSB
